Hello! I am very excited and grateful to be teaching second grade at St. Edward the Confessor this year! I am a proud graduate of St. Dominic’s in Oyster Bay, where I completed my K-12 education. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood and Childhood Education from SUNY Oneonta in 2021, followed by a Master’s degree in Literacy Education.
Teaching second grade has always been a dream of mine! This year is especially exciting as our class prepares for First Holy Communion, a significant milestone in our students’ spiritual journey. I have always cherished my own experiences as an elementary student and am eager to bring that same sense of joy and discovery to my classroom. My goal is to foster a positive and inclusive environment where each student feels valued and inspired to explore their unique abilities. Before joining St. Edward’s, I had the opportunity to build my teaching experience in the Oyster Bay-East Norwich Central School District.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with friends and family, and playing with my three dogs: Daisy, Boo, and Skylar. I look forward to a wonderful year of learning and growth with my students!
