Second Step is a national leading Social Emotional Learning school curriculum. The second step was first used at St. Edwards during the 2016-2017 as part of a trial program with the Diocese of Rockville Centre. Since then, St. Edwards has expanded the use of the Second Step program into all grades K-8. Our School Psychologist oversees the program, with classroom teachers infusing these practices into our classrooms. The skills taught through Second Step help students relate with each other.
