March Curriculum

1. Students will discuss the concept: March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb

2. Students will identify, describe and compare measurable attributes of everyday objects in terms of length, weight and volume. Students will compare numbers and quantities. Students will identify first and last to begin to understand numerical order.

3. Students will identify and repeat letter and sound recognition 
(Letters N, O, P)

 4. Students will learn about new Literacy concepts (Poetry and stories with repetitive text)

5. Students will learn more about Saint Patrick.

6. Students will develop and increase their gross motor skills (Cutting, Gluing, Painting and Beading)

7. Students will incorporate gross motor movements when they dance to St. Patrick's Day and Easter songs.

8. Students will learn to identify the color on
