Homework week of 9/24/2018



* Students should be working on i-Ready throughout the week for about 45 minutes a week


Everyone should have two journals- a religion one and a regular one

Everyone is expected to read at least 20 minutes from Monday to Friday. 

         


I am asking that all students in grades 3 and 4 have a planner

Everyone should have a D.E.A.R. book 



Grade 4-Spelling Words for Lesson 2: west, steep, member, gleam, fresh, freedom, speed, steam, beast, believe, speck, kept, cheap, pretend, greed, shelf, least, eager, reason, chief/Challenge Words: echo, menu, creature, reveal, restaurant
Tuesday-Write the spelling words five times
Wednesday-Write the first half of the spelling words in sentences
Thursday-Write the rest of the spelling words in sentences
Grade 4-We will be working on the four types of sentences (imperative, declarative, exclamatory, and interrogative) and contractions
Grade 3-Spelling Words for Lesson 2: spoke, mile, save, excuse, cone, invite, cube, price, erase, ripe, broke, flame, life, rule/Challenge Words: surprise,decide
Tuesday-Write the spelling words five times
Wednesday-Write the first half of the spelling words in sentences
Thursday-Write the rest of the spelling words in sentences

We will be working with subjects and predicates and the four types of sentences-declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, and imperative
